Our Accompanist
Priscilla Kite
The Rehearsal Accompanist: Priscilla Kite joined the Chorale as our Rehearsal Accompanist in the fall of 1993. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from Trinity College, in Deerfield,Illinois and her Master of Music degree in piano pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She taught choral and general music for seventeen years in grades K-12 in public and private schools in central Wisconsin.
Priscilla began her career as an accompanist in her father’s church. As a student, she accompanied the Marshfield Junior and Senior High School choirs. During her undergraduate program, she accompanied the Trinity College Concert Choir. Currently, in addition to the Monteverdi Chorale, she is the pianist for the Lincoln High School and East and West Junior High choirs, the Suzuki program in Wisconsin Rapids, and a pianist for the vocal music department at UWSP. She also plays flute with the Wisconsin Rapids City band. She and her husband Charles reside in Wisconsin Rapids.
